Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals Recap

OK, so Kevin Kolb is the starter going into preseason, till the first series, when he gets hurt, then its John Skelton.  Skelton wins the job out right until the first game, when he goes down with a low ankle sprain and Kolb comes in and wins the game.  Anyone else just running as fast as they can away from any and all Arizona Cardinals?  The Red Birds offense looked disjointed at best absolutely confused at worst.  Arizona carried the ball 20 times, for only 44 yards, as the offensive line was unable to open any holes for the backs.

Cardinals add secondary help

Arizona Cardinals signed former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback William Gay to a two year deal to play opposite second year stud Patrick Peterson.

Ravens add depth in secondary

The Baltimore Ravens added Safety, Sean Considine. Considine had spent time last year with the Carolina Panthers and then the Arizona Cardinals.

Considine only recorded 9 total tackles last season while with Arizona, and looks to return to the form he showed in 2010 with the Jacksonville Jaguars where he had 52 combined tackles and a pick in 14 games.

The CBA is Done!

The NFL and NFLPA have ratified the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) which puts the NFL back in business in full.

With the CBA Completed new acquisitions to teams can finally start practicing with their new teams. Due to the lockout their were a number of new faces moving across the league. Quarterback Kevin Kolb to the Arizona Cardinals, Corner Nnamdi Asomugha to the Philadelphia Eagles, and several others will finally begin to actually learn team systems.

There was some concern over benefits, drug testing, and the player disciplinary policy, however after a long grueling Wednesday night and an early Thursday, all issues have been resolved.
