Indianapolis Colts at Chicago Bears Recap

Indianapolis Colts at Chicago Bears:

The Bears offense started a similar way to what Chicago fans have been used to for the past few years, poorly on Offense and stead-fast on Defense.  The first couple of series for the Bears saw a sack on the first play, and the Chicago Bears second possession ended with a pick 6 from the Chicago 4 yard line for Jerrell Freeman.  Chicago rebounded after the early mistakes, Matt Forte broke two long runs (31, 15) setting up a Michael Bush 1 yard score.

Andrew Luck performs in first preseason game

The Indianapolis Colts new Franchise player, Andrew Luck has not stopped trying to be the next Peyton Manning, in fact, he is doing the exact same things as Peyton did in Mannings first preseason game.   That being, throwing for a touch down on his first play from scrimmage, Luck took a pop out screen to Donald Brown (the ball traveled 4 yards), Brown then found himself with plenty of open field ahead and was able to plow forward for a 63 yard touch down scamper.

Final NFL Mock Draft

We have spent hours breaking down team needs and player ability.  We’ve looked at what player will fit each teams system and schemes and believe we have come up with an educated Mock NFL Draft.  This draft is based on where a player will be pick and if there is a likelyhood of that position making a trade we have indicated as such.

understanding NFL Draft strategies

This years draft contains a superb level of top end talent, it becomes a bit week towards the late second round and through the 3rd, however the late round small school talent is very deep.  All teams with a first round pick have the ability to improve their roster drastically if they make the right pick.  Take a look and see who each NFL club should be taking.

1 Andrew Luck Indianapolis Colts
2 Robert Griffin 3 Washington Redskins
3 Morris Claiborne Minnesota Vikings – Most likely Traded
4 Trent Richardson Cleveland Browns
5 Matt Kalil Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Possible Trade

Donnie Avery to Colts

Donnie Avery agreed to terms with the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts also acquired Drew Stanton and a 7th round pick from the Jets for a 6th rounder.

Avery will join Reggie Wayne and Austin Collie as the primary receiving threats for rookie QB Andrew Luck once the Colts take Luck number one overall in the NFL draft on April 26th.

Round 1 Mock Draft

The NFL Draft begins with the first round on April 26th.  And the latest class of rookies will be slowly assimilated into the league.  Rounds 2 and 3 will be held on April 27th, and the draft will complete on Saturday April 28th with rounds 4 through 7.

Our first round Mock draft has been completed, we’ve got two variations of how the draft could break down.  Below is the player, team, and position for each of the first 32 off the board.  Some picks were easy, Andrew Luck and RG3 were going 1 and 2 and the Vikings are going to take Matt Kahil, but from their its anybodys guess.
